Through tilt tube type. When converting tiller handle steering to remote steering, the existing co-pilot friction control should be disabled or removed.
For port or starboard entry.
Fits:
- Various Mercury/Mariner 8/9.9/15 hp. 4-Stroke (323 cc)
- 20/25 2-cycle (1984 & newer) outboards
Will also work as the port entry attaching kit for the Mercury/Mariner 8/9.9 hp. FourStroke (MY 2005 & newer) when used with the Ezy Glide stick steering system. Do not use this link rod with this engine when using the traditional rotary or rack steering systems.
