Description

Raymarine - SS164 Stainless Steel Thru-Hull - 0 Tilted Element - 1KW f/CP370 Sounder - A80451

Step up to a 1 kW"”without a fairing! Airmar's innovative Tilted Element technology to a higher power. The 1 kW, flush-mount, tilted element transducer is perfect for fast, trailered, tournament sportfishing vessels that cannot accomodate a high-performance fairing. The flush-mounted, stainless steel housing protrudes less than 6.35 mm (0.25") outside your hull and can sit on trailer rollers and bunks. The ceramic arrays are tilted inside the housing providing the perfect vertical beam with maximum energy on what is directly below the boat.

The SS164 is a stainless steel, dual-frequency (50/200 kHz), high performance through hull transducer with tilted element technology that compensates for the boat's hull deadrise, eliminating the need for a fairing block. The transducer mounts nearly flush to the boat's hull reducing drag and improving water flow. Built-in deadrise compensation keeps the main focus of the beam pointing straight down, resulting in strong echo returns and accurate depth readings. The SS164 also has a built-in fast response water temperature sensor.

The SS164 is ideal for inshore and blue-water trolling. It is also suitable for deep-water bottom and structure fishing at depths up to 500 meters (1,640 feet.)

The SS164 was engineered for fast, trailered, tournament, sportfishing vessels that cannot install a through-hull transducer with a fairing block. The low-profile housing protrudes less than 6.35mm (0.25") outside of the boat's hull, which results in excellent performance at speeds up to 30 knots.

The SS164's transducer array consists of a trio of high-performance ceramics. This creates a transducer that is 6 times more sensitive at 50 kHz and twice as sensitive at 200 kHz, than the benchmark B60/SS60 models below it. The SS164 is compatible with both 600-watt and 1000-watt (1kW) sonar systems.

The stainless steel through-hull fitting is ideal for most metal, wood or fiberglass hulls.

The SS164 comes fitted with a Raymarine 8-pin "DSM-style" connector that is directly compatible with the CP370 sonar module and legacy CP300, DSM300, DSM30 and DSM250 modules. SS164 can be adapted to work with other systems using optional transducer adapter cables, sold separately.

Features:

  • Depth and fast-response water-temperature sensor
  • 1 kW power for performance to 500 m (1640'), 50 kHz with a wide 22 beam, 200 kHz with a 6 beam
  • Interfaces to any 600 W or 1 kW echosounder
  • Engineered for center-console and trailered boats
  • Low-profile protrusion - less than 6.35 mm (0.25") outside your hull
  • Fixed 0 tilted version for 0 to 7 hull deadrise
  • No affect on boats running performance
  • Stainless steel transducer housing for use on all hull materials
  • Recommended boat size: up to 11 m (35')
  • Exclusive Xducer ID technology
