Overview
This is a pretty typical side mount control, the kind that just works and doesn’t try to be anything else. The trim switch is right on the handle, so you can bump the motor without moving your hand around. Once you’ve run a setup like that, it just feels normal.

It comes with a 15-foot harness and a push-to-choke 14-pin connector. On some engines, you may need an adapter at the motor, so that’s something to look at before you start bolting things down. This control fits a wide spread of Mercury and Mariner outboards, plus older Force motors with power trim. It does require GEN II control cables, which is worth noting if you’re replacing an older setup.
