Catch the big fish while anchored with the little anchor kit with the complete YakGear 1.5lb Grapnel Anchor Kit. This 1.5lb (.7 kg) galvanized steel anchor features four 3.5-inch tines that fold out of the way while stored for space maximization and release when ready for use.

While it may seem small, the use of a 1.5lb anchor is a more than adequate weight for kayaks and canoes in rivers, lakes, and slower moving water. Includes 30 feet of 3/16 inch black nylon diamond braid anchor rope and a storage bag.

*Note“ It is recommended to use 3 times the depth of the water as your length of rope in calm waters and 4-5 times the depth of the water as your length of rope in choppy waters or windy conditions
