Lower the engine and unscrew the top plug: Once you’ve loosened the bottom plug, bring it back to its normal position and loosen the top plug.
Empty the old oil: Position your oil catchment reservoir beneath the plugs to collect the oil. The draining speed will increase once the top plug is also removed.
Clean the bottom plug: After entirely removing the bottom plug, ensure you clean any metal shavings off it with a napkin or rag.
Remove the top plug: After all the oil has drained, the top plug can be removed, allowing the remaining oil to drain out much quicker. Remember to clean the top plug as well.
