Installation

1. Remove OEM Components: Take out the OEM Mercury flush port plug and unscrew the Mercury OEM plug from the 3/4" female hose outlet.
2. Detach Lanyard: Remove the lanyard from the engine hose.
3. Install Quick Connect: Thread the new Seamule Flush Port Quick Connect into the flush port and reinstall it into the engine cowling, securing it by giving it a 1/4" turn clockwise.
4. Inspect and Replace if Necessary: Remove the cowling and check the flush hose for any kinks. If a kink is found, replace the Mercury 3/4" female hose outlet with the provided elbow.
5. Ensure Proper Orientation: Orient the elbow inside the cowling to avoid kinks in the Mercury flush hose. Use lubrication on the barb or a heat gun on the hose to facilitate the insertion of the 90-degree elbow if needed.
